Date/Time/Place: Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 9:00 AM. Start/ finish at Victor Ashe Park pavilion.
Course Description: 5K course is mostly flat. The one-mile loop will circle the soccer fields.
Registration and Entry Fees: Early registration - $20. Must be postmarked by September 16, 2011. Late or Day of Race Registration - $25. No refunds given.
Packet Pick-up Info: Race packets should be picked up on Friday, September 30
that Fleet Feet in Turkey Creek from 10am - 7pm.
T-Shirts: Registrants receive a free short-sleeved, t-shirt with commemorative Latin saying. Pre-registered runners will receive shirts on Friday at packet pick-up. Late registrants will receive shirts as supplies last on day of race.
Awards: Top 3 overall, top masters (40+) and grandmasters (50+), both male and female. Overall winners are not eligible for age division awards. Male and female in these categories: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24,25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ years. Awards must be picked up during ceremony.
Prize Money: Awarded to the top three winners.
Team Competition: All teams must sign up during early registration (minimum of four persons per team).Each team competitor must fill out separate entry forms. No changes can be made to any teams on race day.
Refreshments: An assortment of food and drink will be provided post-race.
